[Release] DS006 K'Teus - Sun God Rising

|
|

K'Teus Sun God Rising - DS006 Tracklisting: Eyes of a Psychopath Destroy You Death is Whimsical V2 Sun God Rising
http://www.trig.com/kteus http://www.myspace.com/kteus
Jonathan Addams (aka K'Teus) has been creating electronic music since the mid 90's. the K'Teus project was initiated in December2005, taking influence from a wide range of extreme electronica; from gabba, noise, breakcore and dark ambient. After nineteen months of experimenting, K'Teus has now refined a sound of blistering breakcore evil fused with dub and drum and bass wrapped in an industrial coating.
Familiar themes and sounds are warped and twisted into dark, unfamiliar and unsettling ambiences, beats are broken, crushed and mutated. Distorted samples layer throughout the sonic landscape awaiting the unsuspecting tourist.
The influence for K'Teus' music comes from all over, as one may expect from such a project. Sometimes serious, sometimes playful, but always extreme.

being a dj got any skill at all?

so eventually you get to the point where you time 2 pieces of music running at differet frequencies and different phase together and then after understanding how to that in "so many seconds" what the hell have you got except for what a kid can do in a wav editor with no mind at all.
and now you got 2 songs playing together (you had to highly skilled to do it) but it seems like a completely useless quest to do nothing.
the songs you make on your digital audio program actually do something quite more amazing. its just why im not gonna be a dj, i just wanna make the audio.
(but no the dj auto program on your laptop automatically does it with ai piece of cake.)
and you probably could get more live show in it - but you can actually get quite a varied show just out of tweaking your synth, and isnt that MORE SKILL than just mixing beats and doing fuckall.

COUNTERSTRIKE ''INSUBORDINATION'' LP NEWS
Counterstrike – Insubordination The much anticipated debut album release from Counterstrike has taken over a year to create and showcases the current pinnacle of their audio, visual, creative and technical artistry.
Counterstrike also known as Animal Chin and 500 Mills or Justin Counterstrike & Eaton Crous respectively, have been drum 'n bass DJ's/promoters/producers in South Africa since the mid 90's. Collectively producing since 1998, they've sold over 60 000 records on various high profile labels such as Rob Playford's Moving Shadow, Dieselboy's Human and Dylan's Obscene. They released their first 12" through Allied Recordings in 2001 and haven't looked back since. 2003 and beyond saw them frequently DJ'ing abroad. In 2005 they were offered a P&D deal for their own label Algorythm Recordings and so far it includes releases from artists such as Current Value, Limewax, SPL, T.Z.A and Axis & Trank. The label has gone from strength to strength and their EP "From Beyond The Grave" was met with great interest from the record buying public. All the artwork and video for the label is handled in-house by Eaton, who is a 3D artist by day. Eaton's 9 - 5 leaves a lot of the DJ'ing and touring in the hands of Justin who performed in 16 countries, just in 2007. Apart from their busy schedules as DJ's and Producers, theyv'e promoted hundreds of drum 'n bass events between them. Some as early as 1995. They run the biggest regular drum 'n bass night in South Africa. Established in 2001, Homegrown attracts 600 screaming fans every month. Insubordination will feature Counterstrike tunes along with collaborations and remixes with people like The Panacea, Current Value and Donny. There are no fillers or noodling experiments in other genres, just 100% high energy drum 'n bass aimed at the harder spectrum of the dancefloor. The kind of sound Counterstrike fans know and expect. It does what it says on the box, but they've put enough time and effort into the album that it's not just hard for the sake of being hard. It has enough twists and turns to keep you coming back for more. The album will be released in 3 x 4 vinyl & mp3 parts(or phases as the EP's are called). 12 tunes in total. The first part will be out at the end of February and then monthly through to April. The CD release will contain all 12 tunes and 2 videos (The videos will also be on the Algorythm channel on Youtube) with the final part in April. The CD is licensed to Sublight for US distribution with the UK, Europe and the rest of the world's distribution handled by Nu Urban Music.

I figured some of you out there could recommend something I need. I need the simplest solution to take a DVD, throw it into my computer, and rip it to a web-ready format (wmv, mov, etc).
What do you guys suggest?

Black Hoe Recordings

Almost two years ago, Black Hoe Recordings was launched and took up the business of the darker, heavier and harsher side of electronic music (especially drum'n'bass). Time has passed, and label has got a couple of releases. Countless positive feedbacks and undiminished trust by upcoming producers prove: there is reason of existence of this kind of intention! We are so proud that lots of Hungarian producers started or was released on Black Hoe (like Mystification, Numek, Unabomber, Mastif (aka Stealth), Zero Method, Range, Ekaros or Dashcraft to name some of them). And do not forget about the others...! After this plentiful period we wanted to step ahead and now, our mission is accomplished: Black Hoe Alimony is here!
Black Hoe Alimony

Like the original label, Alimony is still digital with a small difference. Our releases can be bought at better virtual music stores like Beatport, Juno, Chemical Records, Digital Tunes and Ithinkmusic. We endeavor to collect tunes for Alimony which are not acceptable only for those who live in the dark but others who are walking on the bright side. Besides this, we aim at presenting something new and different, some hybrid sound.
With our first release we would like to determine our line of bearing | | | |
