Yeh, it's old and wonky - definitely a throwback to pre-web2.0 UX.

Initially, I wanted to import the old PHPBB content from back in the early 2000s, then upgrade to PHPbb3, but that old database was corrupted, and I already had it installed, so just rolled with it.

I would love something more modern, but half of these forums have gone from "download our forum for free" to SaaS for $500/mo.

I got my think for free. I did get a lot of sticker shock looking around. The thing for me, is I kind of doubt mine will be used that much. So don’t want to invest in it. But I thought it would be cool to have for whatever reason. Seems like we have had reason lately.
